at the weekend ...

... the sun came out.

So the Girl and I went outside.

She has her mama's hair!

It gave me a chance to play with my latest purchase. I've wanted a net canopy/mosquito net (call it what you like) for the garden for a few years now, but only got round to buying one last week. I have so many ideas for using it in the garden this summer.


The canopy was tied to a branch in the tree.
I borrowed the rose from the kitchen. It looked pretty, but more importantly worked as a weight to hold down the tablecloths.
