simple ideas are always the best

I have tons of china tea cups that I don't really use (sometimes the tea doesn't taste as good from it. Is it just me who finds that?), and I have a love~hate thing with jewellery. Don't always wear it, but like to be able to see the prettiest of it.
A Pinterest photo showed a teacup full of sparkly jewellery. Loved it. So simple and easy to do, and so very pretty.

When I saw the teacup idea, I just had to do it. What a lovely way of not only using an old teacup, but for displaying favourite pieces of jewellery.

A less pretty idea, but one that I thought I'd share just for it's usefulness. The white hyacinths in the kitchen have got leggy and started falling over. I just gathered them together and tied with a ribbon. Looks pretty, and keeps them in place.
