garden chair makeover & tree chandelier

Good evening. How is your Easter weekend shaping up?

The sun is still shining down on us here in England, which means most of our time is spent outside.

I showed photos of the garden table makeover recently - which can be found [here] - and mentioned that the chairs needed to be painted too.
I would love to say that this is a makeover project that cost next to nothing, but it would be a lie. We had to buy garden paint, and that's never cheap. However, it was a lot cheaper than buying new garden furniture.

When I showed the husband a photo of different coloured chairs, he liked the idea and agreed it would look rather nice. So now our chairs are the colours of ice cream. Pale pink, minty green, blue and lavender. The colours are just beautiful. And well done to the husband for getting them all painted in just two days. A lot nicer than the dark brown of before.
It feels as if we have brand new furniture. The wooden frame of the parasol was also dark wood, but has been painted the same off white as the table. Some photos from the day.

discarded shoes. The ever present and much loved, Naught-Nee. Flowers arranged in jam jars, so simple yet always so elegant.
The cake didn't last long when a certain someone spotted it! Are you still there?! I know, lots of photos in this post.
I got around to doing something I've been thinking about for a while. Creating a tree chandelier. Just hang some (inexpensive) Christmas decorations to catch the sunshine and sparkle in the light. Difficult to get a decent photo, but take my word for it that it looks very pretty in the sunlight.
Easter tomorrow. I wish you all a very lovely and happy day. Don't eat too much choccy!
