I'm ready

The teacups are changing. The Christmas cups are slowly being removed and put in another cupboard until next time.

I'm keen to get the tree down, and the decorations put away, but it can wait until Monday. I'm going to have another 'white month', so I can cleanse the house of all traces of Christmas and have a peaceful start to the year. Rejuvenate my body and mind, ready for the year ahead. I'm ready to order new shoes start on the new bottles of perfume, and get stuck into new books

2010 had its good and bad times, a year of ups and downs, things I'll never forget, things I would prefer not to remember, and now it's almost over.
Sometimes it's easy to look back on a year and feel sad that it has passed by so quickly, but it's not really a time for tears. It's a time to look forward. A new year means new experiences, new things to look forward to, a fresh start. There will be changes in this household this year, not bad changes, just the marching forward of life. And I am ready to make a start with it. I wish you all the very best for 2011. May you have a happy, healthy and wonderful new year.
