making a start

It's time to start decorating for Christmas. I've decided to keep it simple this year. Normally I put lots of lights up out in the front garden. I've put out a little less than normal. Not quite finished yet, so photos to follow.

In the back garden I've put up more than normal! I always decorate my little girl's playhouse - Gingerbread House - but this year I've done it slightly differently, and I like it. It's always fun to decorate the little house.

I've also put lights on the tree nearby. Instead of a wreath on the door, I've hung a glittery NOEL sign, and tied with a bow. Simple but very pretty.

I've been making glittery garlands for inside the house. This is one I've recently finished. It's cold here in England at the moment. Frosty, icy and snowy. There is more to come this week. Which means Gorgeous Girl and I will stay cosy warm inside. Putting up decorations, watching Christmas films, and drinking lots of tea (me, not her!).
