Earlier on, the sun was shining. I took a couple of magazines and went outside to enjoy a cup of tea in the garden.On the table I placed a jar of roses. Not any old roses, these are the first roses cut from the garden this year.
I am really delighted to find that the ruffly tablecloth that I made for the kitchen table fits the garden table perfectly well too.
I don't keep flowery displays to the back garden only, the front garden also has little displays here and there. I've placed a jug of lilacs on the garden bench. With all the ivy growing around, this little corner of my world is the perfect place to sit and relax.
