It's a quiet Easter for us this year, just us on our own. We will eat lunch in the kitchen (with the ruffly tablecloth on the table!). I've decorated very simply. Just jam jars of tulips sitting in a sparkly tray.Lunch is simple too. When I asked Gorgeous Girl what she'd like to eat, she said 'salmon'!!!! I'm turning it into fish pie, along with cod, a cheesy sauce and topped with mashed potato. Husband and I will have prawns in ours too.
We're having strawberry trifle afterwards.
Basic, fuss-free, quiet, easy. Suits me very well indeed :O)
Right now, I think I'll go and make a cup of tea and toast a hot cross bun for breakfast.
