I made it using mainly the stash of goodies that I won in the giveaway last week.
I'd had no idea what I was going to use the giveaway goodies for, so put them safely away - so my little girl couldn't walk off with things or wreck anything! I wanted to take some time and have a little think about what to do with it all. As everything sat nicely together, I really wanted to use as much as I could in one single project. The only extras I've added are the sheer ribbon bows, the tiny pink bow and the millinery flowers. The letters were printed from the computer, carefully cut out, then glued on to paper, and coated with black glitter for just the tiniest hint of sparkle.Over Christmas I'd seen lots of very pretty vintage style garlands like this, made from paper and letters. This is made with Valentine's Day in mind. I didn't want it to say 'Valentine' as that would limit when I could use it, so I opted for 'Love' instead.
The 'V' is my favourite card, the little girl reminds me of my very own Gorgeous Girl.
Very easy to do, and looks a lot better in Real Life than these photos would suggest. So thank you again LuLu Liz! I hope you approve of my use of the goodies. And I have enough left over for another little project that I will work on later in the year. :o)
