It changes almost daily, and truly is a source of inspiration. Holding things that I like, that I love and that inspire. Why did I think I needed a corkboard of some kind, when this is perfect for me?
Earlier this week, when I was visiting [LuLu Liz], I saw that she had followed a tutorial for making roses. Anyone who has known me for a long time, or followed this blog since I started it, will know I just LOVE making roses of any kind. I've been asked several times to share how I make my felt and [velvet roses]but I never have. For no other reason than it would take absolutely ages to explain exactly how I make them. I have shared how I made my [Organza Roses], because they are so simple that they take hardly any explaining.
While I take pride in making flower corsages in my own way, I'm always interested when I find an easy to follow idea.
The tutorial was from [Robin's Egg Blues],and is brilliant. I made two roses in under ten minutes! Here are my results.
If you have ever wanted to make your own flowers, then I can't recommend this tuturial enough. Very easy to follow, and very easy to make yourself. I plan to make lots more!
