The snow that the weather people told us would be with us last night, didn't show up. We awoke to a now normal frosty, icy and very cold morning.The rest of Great Britain is covered in snow, and it seemed that our little part was the only snow free part. I told the husband I could smell snow in the air, he said something along the lines of 'yeah, right' and toodled off to work.
Well, I was right. And it looks like the Girl and I will be playing outside this afternoon! Or maybe we'll just stay cosy inside and watch the snowflakes gently fall to the ground.
The photo above was taken after almost an hour of non stop snow, and as I type this it's still snowing heavily.
