It arrived this morning, and I am delighted with the goodies inside. I quickly took a photo, as pieces were being removed by Gorgeous Girl! A very big Thank You to [Lu Lu Liz]. I have absolutely no idea what I will do with it all yet, but I'm sure I'll think of something!
I haven't been particuarly crafty or creative this week. Little Girl and I have been out and about for long walks, or staying cosy at home.
I've been making little revamps to some of my jewellery. Nothing spectacular, just minor changes. I do this from time to time when I get bored with things or decide I can improve them. It's good to do, you end up 'new' jewellery but it costs nothing. Wonderful!
I'll show you a pair of earrings I remodelled. They are just a high street purchase, nothing special. I really love the main part of the earring, but have never been overly fond of the crystal drop on the bottom. I removed the crystal and replaced with a flower. I think they are much improved.
Why not give it a try yourself? Nice and easy to do, and gives old jewellery a new lease of life. Go through your jewellery box and see what you can revamp. All you need are scissors, tweezers and a pair of pliers. You don't even need a great deal of time, this took me about 3 minutes to do!
