I ordered them the other day and they arrived this morning. The pink one will go in the kitchen, and the green I think will look rather lovely in the bedroom. I've been browsing for this style of poster online for a while, but up until recently couldn't find them in the colours I wanted. Nor in the price I wanted, some of them are disgustingly expensive. Not so these, and they are a good size too ~ not too large, not too small, just right. I will look for suitable frames for them tomorrow. Visit [keep calm & carry on.com] to take a look at the posters they have for sale, you can buy them ready framed if you prefer.
Even though the roses are blooming beautifully in my garden, Christmas ideas still take up space in my mind.

I'm hoping to get some time to work on a few Christmas crafts this weekend. Something else I've been looking for online is wooden alphabet cut outs in both upper and lower case, and small plastic ballerina cake decorations. Both arrived today.
I kind of have an idea in my head, I say 'kind of' because I'm still not 100% certain what I'm going to end up with, but it will be some sort of Christmas signage that I hope will have a vintage feel to it. Lots to try out and work on, and I'm really looking forward to getting on with it. I will of course show the end results here. I made a tentative start..
Once the letters are completely glitter covered I'll start thinking of what it is I want to do with them! I know that I will need to back them with something so they are all joined together, but as of this moment I haven't thought how - but I will.oh yes, and I have a helpful tip with the glitter. I don't like to glitter on newspaper as whatever you're working on ends up getting stuck to the paper. Instead, I line the tray that I like to use with cling film. If any glue drips down it peels off easily, and it makes it so simple to reuse the leftover glitter. :O)
