more of the same

The flowers are nothing to do with this post, I'm just trying to pretty it up because it's a repetitive post.

The orange vinegar cleaner is a bit of a hit. No, it's not ready yet, but it's getting there and the smell is fine. I can live with it.
So, yesterday I started off a new one. Grapefruit and lemon peel. The smell when slicing off the peel was gorgeous. So fresh and zingy. I'd love it if the vinegar had exactly that smell.

Same procedure as before.
The following photo was taken this morning, to show how quickly the vinegar is coloured by the peels. Natural colour, rather than the lurid bright greens, blues, and purples that cleaning manufacturers seem to assume we want to see. The smell is fine, still of vinegar, but that grapefruit fragrance is coming through strongly.

After a couple of weeks I'll strain the liquid from the peel, pour into spray bottles and water down slightly.
Promise I won't write about this every time I make it.

I've got a little project I want to work on over the weekend, I'll blog about it next week and it isn't vinegar or cleaning related in any way!
