perfect vase for spring flowers

I call this idea 'Remembered by Pinterest'. I saw a photo of flowers in an old Chanel bottle, and it reminded me that I use an old Ralph Lauren Safari bottle as a vase for delicate blooms sometimes.

It started my mind whirring, and I remembered the old Chanel bottles I have kicking around.

They make very sweet mini vases, you can't fit many flowers in, but that doesn't matter. It's about the container as much as the flowers.

Couture for beautiful flowers! Very pretty on the table beside my bed.

If you think that I'm just being a snob, you couldn't be more wrong. Chanel bottles are simple and beautiful, the simplicity of them suits my mood this year.
I use anything that takes my fancy. Teacups, teapots, jam jars, candle jars .. anything that pleases my eye at that moment.
The 'vase' I have in the kitchen right now proves this. Nothing more than a pasta sauce jar ~ I absolutley love the shape. And it seems so right to use an old sauce jar on the kitchen table!
