The snow has gone, in its place we have rain.
I love cold weather days. I make endless cups of tea, light a candle, and find myself inspired to make things. Over the weekend I decided I needed a new 'spring' necklace. I rootled around and found lots of pink beads left over from when I [embellished a cardigan].
When making jewellery by threading beads, I like to use good old dental floss. I've mentioned this before, when I [talked about these necklaces].
Dental floss is good to use because it's strong and easy to thread through the eye of a needle. The minty smell vanishes pretty quickly.
I didn't have enough beads to make a full necklace, so I used snippets of chain either side. Easy to do, and cost nothing.
