How was your weekend? Ours was quiet. The husband was away in London, so The Girl and I were home alone. We kept ourselves busy.
Cookies were baked and decorated.
sewing boxes sorted out and reorganised.
A work of art created. 
Lots of good reading. 
And then, when we woke up on Sunday morning, we had been covered in snow.
Cue lots of playing outside. 
The husband arrived home safe and sound, and as requested, he'd been to this little corner shop in London. 
Or to be more specific, he'd located this part of it. 
So he returned home with a pale green bag, holding a little box of the scrummiest macarons in the world. I must admit though, I'm just as taken with the packaging. So beautiful.
all in all, a pretty good weekend!
