still decorating

On Sunday I was watching an American Christmas film. In once scene I noticed that a cupboard with glass doors had two small wreaths hung on them. Yes, I am the kind of person who scours the backgrounds in films to glean new decorating ideas.
I thought I could do something similar to the cupboard in our dining room. It needed to be lightweight, so as not to pull and damage the doors. As I will take any excuse to add more tulle netting around the house, I thought it would be perfect to use. I love the girly prettiness of it.
I've got the tulle garland on the stairs again this year but haven't shown a photo as yet. It only took an hour or so to make two small wreaths, in the same way as I made the Valentine's wreath. The 'How To' can be found [HERE]. I like them, and best of all it cost nothing to do as I used what I already had. Now I really need to stop watching Christmas films in case I get any more decorating ideas. I think we have enough for this year.

My little girl hassled me all of yesterday morning to find Christmas stockings. I dug them out and handed them over. She gleefully told me she'd hung them up, and when I went into the living room, this is what I saw. That's the best bit of decorating in the entire house.
