The house feels so cosy when it's grey and dark outside.
On Sunday we took a jaunt to both [Dunelm Mill] and [The Range] to buy a few bits and pieces.
It was with total excitement that we spotted The Range had a small selection of Halloween goodies out already. Gorgeous Girl in particular was delighted, because for some reason (certainly not my encouragement), she absolutely LOVES Halloween. Each year we have to go into town to the balloon shop, and see if they have the Halloween Hello Kitty balloon that she likes. Last year, I copied it and made a litte outfit for one of her HK toys to wear all year round.
So when we spotted the Halloween goodies, well, we just had to buy some didn't we?!The lanterns in the top photo are a total bargain, just £1 each. If you like them and have a branch of The Range near you, I would suggest buying them quickly. At that price they won't hang around. I bought 7 in total. I've told Girly Girl that she can have a little Halloween party this year, and I think they'd look rather nice lit either side of the front garden path.
Not quite as keen on these, but at least they aren't real.
If you are like me, and like to start buying things for Christmas nice and early, then Dunelm is the place for you. There isn't a huge amount, but I managed to track down some fairy lights.
