Well I did it. I made a start on painting (or should that be 'repainting') the chairs in the kitchen. This morning I looked at them and decided today was the day I would take the plunge, and paint one in a pastel shade. We have lots of garden paint left over from when we painted the garden chairs, so I just used that. Well, if it's good enough for braving the British weather, then it's good enough for using on a kitchen chair. Here are the unsupecting chairs, thinking they were in for a quiet day in the kitchen.
But now, one of them is pink.
I'm going to live with the pink chair for a while, to see how I like it before I take my paintbrush to any more of them.
There are four chairs in total, one of them is in the garage because having all four around the table was bit cluttered. Even though the high chair isn't used any more, I still like having it in the kitchen. The time will come when common sense prevails, and I remove the high chair, then the fourth chair can come back home. The plan is to have one white chair, one pink, one blue and one minty green. I'm just a little unsure right now. I love the pink, but do I want other colours too? Not sure.
There's no rush.
For now, I'm happy seeing the pink chair in the kitchen.
