Back in March I found some gorgeous Christmas baubles on the internet. They were mercurised glass and the nicest decorations I'd seen. I've now bought two sets of them, and the style is so pretty and vintage looking that it has triggered off a genuine love and appreciation. I did a search earlier on this week for vases in this style. Some of the searches took me to items that were no longer in stock, but eventually I found some at a very decent price and placed an order. They have just been delivered, and I thought I would mention them here for anyone else who is collecting mercury glass.
They are 12 cms tall, so can be used for candles too. They must look absolutely stunning with flickering candlelight in them. I love them as vases, I think they set off flowers beautifully. 
So elegant. You can find these at [Caroline Zoob], but fear not, they are not disgustingly expensive, they are reduced and cost just £5 each - that's a bargain in my book, even more so when it comes from this particular website!
