The rules of this are to list 7 things that I love. It goes without saying that being a mum, my family and our good health are top of that, as are being British and loving tea, so I will concentrate on other things.

1. Perfume I used to work in a perfume shop and loved it. Fragrance is a passion of mine, I don't just love it. I am a Chanel girl, but change my scent seasonally and use other fragrances. At the moment I am wearing Jean Charles Brosseau 'Fleurs D'Ombre Violette-Menthe' , and 'Devon Violets' - though not at the same time!
2. The colour pink I wasn't really in to pink until I had my daughter, and then I went pink crazy. My microwave, kettle, and food mixer are all pink and I intend to get more pink stuff in our home. Luckily I have a very understanding husband!
3. Flowers I love all flowers, but the more highly scented the better. Roses are my all time favourite, but I also love violets, lily of the valley, freesia, gardenia, hyacinth, lilacs, stocks, dianthus. Scented flowers, too gorgeous for words. One of the rules of our house is that we always have fresh flowers in vases. The one thing I love about summer is cutting roses from our garden. Nothing makes me happier than a vase of flowers from my own garden.
My love of flowers isn't limited to just fresh. I love silk, velvet and paper, prints on fabrics and pictures. I try to feature flowers in every aspect of my life.
Another love is growing my own vegetables, and always grow something each year. It's not a recent love either, back in my early twenties I even had an allotment with chickens. Fact!
4. Being creative I don't have many talents, so I really appreciate my creative streak. I am happy to say my little girl is already showing signs of being creative too.
5. Magazines & books Vogue, Country Living, Martha Stewart Living, Delicious., Country Kitchen and Victoria are my favourites, but I love weekly gossip mags and other food mags too. Total addiction. I am obsessed with books. Biographies, autobiographies, cookbooks, flower arranging books, craft books, Christmas books, history of fashion, history of shoes, books by Susan Branch, Martha Stewart or Gooseberry Patch. Books, books, books. Just wish I had more time to read.
6. Rainy days & the changing seasons I love the rain. I also love the cold but sunny days of spring, autumn and winter. I am not a fan of summer and am always happy to see the first leaves of autumn fall. That said, I appreciate life and try to make the most of each and every day.
Christmas is my super-favourite time of year.
7. Accessories: Shoes, handbags, hats, gloves, fake fur, corsages, sparkles and pearls 'nuff said!
What a lovely list to do. Thanks Beki.
I'll be holding the cushion giveaway around the middle of next week, so I'll see you then!
